There is something disarming about this figure — mid-flight, effortlessly rising from a billowing cloud of rocket smoke, one hand outstretched to grasp a crater-textured lunar balloon as if the Moon were the simplest thing in the world to catch. It is playful and profound in equal measure, a sculpture that makes you smile before it makes you think.
The all-chrome suit gleams with every shift in light, its mirror-polished helmet reflecting the room around it in soft, warped brilliance. Black accents trace the joints and details, adding depth and contrast to the figure's rounded, almost cartoon-like form. Above it all, the silver Moon balloon hovers — detailed with craters, connected by the thinnest of threads — impossibly delicate, impossibly beautiful.
